Training is more than puppy love at Bayswood!

Bayswood Care is delighted to welcome our new trainer, Ann-Marie, to the Bayswood Care Group.  

Ann-Marie will be working flexibly to increase training capacity across our three homes in Blackpool and Poulton-le-Fylde.

Group Trainer, Sarah says, “Ann-Marie is an experienced trainer/ assessor who is used to working with learners in homes across the northwest.  She also has an IQA qualification which means that she will be able to contribute to the quality assurance of our accredited qualifications.”

In addition to being a people trainer, Ann-Marie is also a guide dog puppy trainer! – You may see her with Hicks, because gaining experience in all sorts of situations is crucial to a guide dog's training.

Ann-Marie says, “I am delighted to be on board at Bayswood and working in-house, rather than across a range of homes. I think being focussed on our own brand gives me the opportunity to concentrate on our staff’s development as I help Sarah and Jo take training to the next level.”
