Herman the rabbit is appointed Dane View’s Cultural Attaché

Dane View is pleased to officially announce the appointment of the care home's Cultural Attaché, Herman. Herman, the cute white rabbit, was named in a competition for residents at Dane View.

One of Herman’s first tasks was to visit sister care homes in the northwest. With a busy day ahead, Herman was up bright and early for a stroll along Blackpool's famous Golden Mile, before nipping over to Poulton to see us at the Alexandra Care Home with Nursing.

Herman thinks it's important to be part of a fantastic group of care homes, where managers share their skills and knowledge with each other for the benefit of staff and residents.

Herman will be based at Dane View’s care home in Leicester. Dane View is part of the Bayswood Care Group, a family-run business that has been growing steadily and building a solid reputation for excellence in care.

Herman is expected to travel and visit other care homes around the country, spreading smiles and fun as part of his ambassadorial role.

In his opening statement for the company, Herman said, ‘Mmmerrrr, I love carrots.’ And there you have it.
